For those who don’t know, Stone always had a cherished dream to become a mother. Believe it or not, she faced 9 unsuccessful attempts with her husband Phil Bronstein. Eventually, they decided on adoption and soon became parents of a boy.
Unfortunately, their marriage didn’t last and ended in complex divorce as a result of which Stone lost custody of Rohan. Phil used some scenes from «Basic Instinct» during the legal battles and persuaded everyone that Stone was a terrible parent.
It wasn’t until Rohan turned 18 that she managed to regain custody of him. This experience left her heartbroken, but she found joy adopting two boys, Land and Quinn. She always hid them from the spotlight and provided with carefree childhood years.
