What a cute and lovable scene: mother lioness teaches her tiny babies how to cross a stream

Four lion cubs boldly followed their mother across the river in adorable footage.

In South Africa’s Mala Mala Game Reserve, four lion cubs boldly follow their mother across a river in adorable footage.

Cameron Inggs, a park ranger, captured the scene on camera. A man spotted a large family on a day trip, but things got a little more interesting when they stumbled upon a tiny river.

The cubs had no choice but to follow their mother as she crossed the water. However, they didn’t look very confident.

However, one of the cubs, the bravest of the group, picks up his courage and goes forward. Even though the water seems too deep for the cute tiny creature, it pulls through.

The second and third brothers followed suit and jumped into the water without hesitation. They simply tried to imitate the actions of their bolder brother and in a few seconds were on the other side of the water with their mother.

The fourth toddler seems more wary than his siblings, but eventually he realizes that staying with his family is the only option (well, I have no doubt his mom would come back for him if necessary). Luckily, the four little lions learned their lesson.

When it comes to crossing water, lions, unlike other big wild cats, are very indecisive. They enter the water only when absolutely necessary. Otherwise, they prefer to stay on land.
