What a sweet story: at one shelter, one of the employees wrote a wish list for a sick dog

This story touched the hearts of many people.

In July, an adult dog was found abandoned with a large tumor that turned out to be a cancerous disease.

“We were walking in the morning, we heard some barking, so he was outside”, said rescue manager Megan Pittman.

“We noticed a scratch on his rear bumper, but when it was checked by our veterinarian, it unfortunately turned out to be cancer”.

They decided to complete the adorable dog’s wish list and have been fulfilling his wishes ever since.

The cute dog has been on cheeseburger trips, frozen yogurt boat cruises and many other adventures.

He worked a day as a retired firefighter and deputy sheriff.

“Dog said he wanted to be a superhero for a day, so we called our favorite superheroes right here at the North Myrtle Beach Fire and Rescue Department and also the North Myrtle Beach Police Department”, he shelter worker said.

In honor of his six-month-old birthday, he was taken to the VIP area at the Ripley Aquarium.

“Teddy was interested in unique birds and fish, but most of all he liked the attentiveness of the staff,” the caption to the photo says.

Volunteers take care of him with attention and love, he has captured their minds and they enjoy the moments spent with him.
