When we talk about pets, the first thing that comes to mind is cats and dogs.

But domestic animals such as horses, chickens, and cows can form the same associations with us. Ryan Phillips met Jenna Coe with this attitude. And he will be forever grateful for everything Jenna has helped him achieve.

Phillips and Jenna met after he saw an advertisement for a newborn Holstein calf. He drove three hours from home to see a cow.

Jenna was only 3 days old.

The cow was spray-painted as a sign that it was going to be thrown away.

Jenna was born with a twin brother. This means that Jenna, despite being born a woman, will eventually grow up to be barren, which will do the farmers no good. Jenna had a lawyer.

However, instead of being immediately killed, the farmer’s daughter convinced her father to spare Jenna and simply adopt her.

Phillips, an animal lover, was perfect for the job.

And although 3 days on this earth taught Jenna rejection, the following days and years taught her love and acceptance. But every day Jenna got bigger and bigger. Soon she looked like a thousand-pound puppy.

Good thing Phillips has the perfect spot for him.

The non-profit organization keeps various farm animals such as chickens, pigs, or other cows.

The farm gives these animals a lot of room to grow and just to live, especially when they are as big as Jenna.
