The cat was glorified by an innate trait, almost no hair growing in front of his eyes.
A cat named Cornelius Cornbred (the second word translates as “corn brea”) is a representative of a rare breed called the Bombay cat. But it was not this that glorified him, but an innate trait, almost no hair growing in front of his eyes.
Don’t worry, he’s all right. And in general, the absence of hair in this place turned out to be the hallmark of Bombay, because it was for this reason that the black cutie had unique white eyebrows.
This is Cornelius Cornbred, a 4 year old cat from Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
He is a representative of the Bombay cats, which already sounds cool, but the black cutie became famous for other reasons.
This breed is called Velcro. Creatures belonging to this group love to be the center of attention.
Cornelius is no exception!
Retired cat owner and teacher Karen Mellett says Cornbred has a strong personality that matches his unique looks.
“He doesn’t like to be left alone or ignored and gets very worried when I leave home”.
“He loves to follow us curled up on his lap and, unlike many cats, the cutie loves to be held and carried around.”
However, there are not so many Bombays in nature and Cornelius is so lonely!
In general, the international standard of this breed is the absolute blackness of cats, but Cornelius went against the template.
It’s all about his luxurious eyebrows!
In fact, the eyebrows are the light skin of a cat, which is visible under the sparse hair above the eyes. This feature of Cornelius manifested itself when he was still a newborn kitten.
The cat’s eyebrows make it look much more serious and also make it look very unique overall.
These cats are adored online, which is why “cornbread” has become a popular Instagram star.
The owner of the cat and five other animals are very fond of costumed photo shoots.
Cornelius is their main star of course!
Karen once wrote in the comments to the photo that “many are willing to pay for eyebrows like Cornelius”.
Cornelius, well done!
