A cat named Cornelius Cornbred (the second word translates as “corn brea”) is a representative of a rare breed called the Bombay cat. But it was not this that glorified him, but an innate trait, almost no hair growing in front of his eyes.

This is Cornelius Cornbred, a 4 year old cat from Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

He is a representative of the Bombay cats, which already sounds cool, but the black cutie became famous for other reasons.

Cornelius is no exception!

Retired cat owner and teacher Karen Mellett says Cornbred has a strong personality that matches his unique looks.

“He doesn’t like to be left alone or ignored and gets very worried when I leave home”.

“He loves to follow us curled up on his lap and, unlike many cats, the cutie loves to be held and carried around.”

However, there are not so many Bombays in nature and Cornelius is so lonely!

In general, the international standard of this breed is the absolute blackness of cats, but Cornelius went against the template.

It’s all about his luxurious eyebrows!

In fact, the eyebrows are the light skin of a cat, which is visible under the sparse hair above the eyes. This feature of Cornelius manifested itself when he was still a newborn kitten.
