Kate Middleton and Tom Cruise certainly know how to create a memorable red-carpet moment. The Princess of Wales attended the London premiere of Cruise’s latest film alongside Prince William, but it was Kate’s glamorous appearance — and another hand-holding moment with the Hollywood star — that quickly attracted attention.
Kate chose a dramatic purple chiffon and silk gown for the occasion. The flowing design featured delicate pleating, sheer balloon sleeves and a plunging neckline, giving the princess an elegant yet noticeably glamorous look.
Her jewelry was equally striking. Kate wore a statement heart necklace featuring pearls and amethyst stones. While heart-shaped jewelry may be enjoying a fashionable comeback, hers was no new purchase — the vintage piece has reportedly been part of the royal collection for decades.
Kate completed the look with her hair styled in particularly full, cascading curls, adding even more drama to the romantic gown.
But there was another detail cameras couldn’t miss. At one point, Cruise and Kate were photographed holding hands, echoing a memorable moment from the 2022 premiere of “Top Gun: Maverick,” when the actor famously offered the princess his hand on the red carpet.
Cruise, Kate and William appeared relaxed together as they posed and interacted in front of photographers. David Beckham, a close friend of the Hollywood actor, was also among those attending the London event.
