What started as a terrifying moment in a quiet backyard quickly turned into an internet mystery that stunned thousands of people online.
Lujan Eroles, a 46-year-old woman from Santa Fe, Argentina, was walking through her garden when she suddenly noticed a bizarre snake-like creature lying nearby. At first glance, it looked exactly like a tiny serpent.
Then she got closer.
The strange animal was only about 10 centimeters long, but its appearance was unsettling enough to immediately send Eroles into panic. The creature had unusual markings that resembled eyes and a body shape that looked eerily similar to a baby snake.
