In Buffalo, there’s a home so hidden from sight, you’d never guess it even exists — because it’s built entirely underground!

This one-of-a-kind property has recently hit the market with an asking price of $2.25 million, according to the listing agent.

If you’re thinking the price sounds steep, a peek inside might just change your mind.

Naturally, the home doesn’t have windows, but the agent says the bright and carefully designed interiors make up for the lack of natural sunlight.

The house features striking design choices, including massive murals on the walls and vaulted ceilings to create a more spacious, airy atmosphere.

Sitting on a massive 40-acre lot, the home offers around 3,000 square feet of living space, complete with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The entrance is a circular doorway leading into a long, mural-covered corridor designed to resemble a brick-lined tunnel.

Beyond that, you’ll find an expansive open-plan area connecting the kitchen, dining, and living spaces.

Each room comes with its own unique style.

One of the bathrooms, for example, is decorated with artwork inspired by famous masterpieces like Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man and Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus.

Built back in 1999 by owner Glenn Young, this underground house was created to ensure total privacy and demonstrate how safe and practical a dome-shaped underground home could be.

And judging by how it turned out, Glenn certainly proved his point.
