A beautiful scene: this little dog becomes a bridesmaid during the wedding ceremony

For Erica and Chris Aldous, Ruby was more than just a four-legged friend. A beloved member of the family, the female dachshund was entrusted with a mission of paramount importance.

A couple from East Sussex, England wanted more than anything to find a wedding venue of their choice. That’s how the then 6-year-old charming ball of fur officially became a bridesmaid.

Dressed in gorgeous sunglasses and a pretty purple chain, Ruby was a hit. All the guests fell in love with the sausage dog, who took his role very seriously.

“We knew from the beginning that Ruby would be at our wedding ceremony”, Erica told the Metro daily as she made her grand entrance, walking down the aisle with our two godchildren.

That day, the female dachshund had 185 eyes. She literally stole the show from the bride and groom. Excited to be the center of attention, the dog had one of the best days of his life.

The hosts placed her on a special seat near the table so that she could enjoy the banquet. Appropriate food and treats filled her small stomach. But Ruby didn’t want to rest after such a big party.

The happiest and most excited dog continued to run and frolic to the delight of the guests.
