«About domestic abuse, traumas and therapy!» Jennifer Aniston gets candid about her early years and path to stardom

Most of you remember her as Rachel on «Friends», but only few know the full story! 🤫🧐 Let’s have a closer look into Aniston’s hard childhood and the traumas it left! 💔😩 Her mother called her «ugly» and claimed that she had a big nose! 🥺😖 For more jaw-dropping details – see the article! 👇

Besides her iconic role in the American sitcom «Friends», Jennifer Aniston is also well-known for her appearance in «We’re the Millers» and «Horrible Bosses». Aniston has built a drizzling career, but the path to success was not as smooth as it might seem to us.

Only few know that she had hard and challenging childhood. The future star had complexes and insecurities disseminated by the domestic abuse and criticism from her peers. Sadly enough, her mother missed no chance to call her «ugly» thus making her a preserved teenager with complexes and insecurities.

What is more, Nancy Dow, her mother, considered that Aniston had a big nose and found it appropriate to say it out loud. Some suppose that the fact that Nancy was a single mother made her unhappy and she herself needed therapy. It goes without saying that all this failed to have an impact on her self-confidence.

As a result of this, Nancy and Jennifer hadn’t spoken to each other for 15 years. She even skipped her own wedding just to avoid her mother’s presence. It took her years of therapy to get rid of all those complexes and the traces of her traumatic childhood.

«My mother spoke to me in this way because she loved me and wanted the best for me. She didn’t mean to be cruel; she just wasn’t aware that the suffering she was giving me would only end after years of therapy».
