In a 2021 interview, Crawford opened up about her evolving beauty routine. She recalled that after giving birth to her children, Kaia, 23, and Presley, 25, she experienced noticeable hair loss in certain areas. “After having my kids, I lost hair in what my hairstylist calls the ‘parking lot,’” she shared, referring to a spot where her hair had thinned. “You hope it’ll grow back, but sometimes it doesn’t.”

Watching her daughter Kaia’s hair inspired Crawford to expand her brand to include haircare products as well. She realized there was a need for easy-to-use solutions to tackle problems such as hair damage and lack of shine, and this motivation helped shape Meaningful Beauty’s haircare line.

Reflecting on aging, Crawford shared her goal to encourage others through her brand. She told, “If we’re lucky, we all get older—it’s a privilege. But aging can feel daunting, especially for women wondering what’s next.” She describes her approach to skincare as “age maintenance,” acknowledging that while gravity and time have their effects, she’s committed to giving her skin the best care possible.
