Angelina Jolie turned her latest New York appearance into a special mother-daughter night. The 51-year-old actress and filmmaker attended a special screening of Without Blood alongside her 21-year-old daughter Zahara, with the pair posing together for a rare public appearance.
Angelina opted for a daring all-black ensemble, wearing a tailored trouser suit with a plunging neckline that revealed a delicate lace bra underneath. Zahara matched her mother in an elegant floor-length black dress as they smiled for photographers.
The event celebrated Without Blood, the film directed by Angelina that was originally released in 2024. Salma Hayek, who stars in the movie, also attended the screening and posed alongside Angelina during the evening.
The outing comes as Zahara continues to establish an identity of her own. The 21-year-old recently officially dropped her father Brad Pitt’s surname, a decision that has attracted considerable attention amid the actor’s strained relationship with several of his children.
Angelina and Brad were together for more than a decade and married in 2014 before separating two years later. Their lengthy legal battle continued for years, with their divorce finally being settled at the end of 2024. Brad, now 62, recently made headlines of his own when he attended the US Open with his 33-year-old girlfriend, Ines de Ramon.
The former couple share six children: Maddox, 25, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 21, and 18-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. Several of the children have stopped using Pitt’s surname publicly, while reports have long suggested that his relationship with much of the family remains strained.
For Angelina, however, the latest evening was firmly focused on her work and her daughter. With Zahara standing proudly beside her, the actress turned the screening into another rare glimpse of the close mother-daughter bond they share.
