It’s hard to fathom that Madonna has reached the age of 66.It seems like only yesterday that the legendary Queen of Pop burst onto the scene, enchanting audiences around the globe ever since.
Madonna is now kicking off her eagerly awaited Celebration Tour after successfully recovering from a severe bacterial infection that necessitated a hospital stay earlier this year.
New photos of the Like a Virgin singer have received enthusiastic acclaim from her devoted fanbase, reinforcing that age is merely a number and that she remains a vital presence in the music scene.
Earlier this summer, fans expressed concern when Madonna was unexpectedly hospitalized.
Initial news was alarming, but it quickly became clear that her health issue was more serious than first reported.
The Queen of Pop was set to launch her Celebration Tour in Vancouver on July 15, with 53 shows highlighting her most popular songs from 1983 to today. Unfortunately, she had to delay the tour after being admitted to the hospital because of a bacterial infection.
Reports indicated that she was found unresponsive on June 24 and subsequently taken to a hospital in New York City, where she was intubated.
A family member later shared with Entertainment Tonight that they had been “preparing for the worst” after the alarming news broke. “For a few days, there was uncertainty about her condition, and her family was bracing for the worst,” they noted.
“This is why it was kept under wraps since Saturday,” they continued. “Everyone feared the worst, and that was the reality they faced.”
Madonna’s hospitalization was more severe than initially thought, with medical personnel administering a NARCAN injection when they found her unresponsive at her home.
Fortunately, she was discharged and allowed to recuperate at home. Her much-anticipated Celebration Tour is now in progress, with the Vogue star receiving accolades for her appearance after sharing a series of photos from her performances.
The Paris leg of her tour particularly stood out, as fans lavished her with compliments. One admirer even referred to her as “the most beautiful woman in the world.”
