Even after the separation of M. Griffith and A. Banderas, the macho is still on good terms with his stepdaughter Dakota Johnson! It was on May 1996 that the couple tied the knot and the 35-year-old film star suddenly became the stepfather of 6-year-old Dakota and 10-year-old Alexander.

It was a challenging period of time for him as Banderas was totally inexperienced and embracing fatherhood was «not in his plans» yet. However, the special and unbreakable bond they started to share melted down everyone’s heart reflecting the sincerity and devotion behind a connection between a daughter and stepfather.

The future couple first crossed paths when they both were still married to other people. Griffith was previously married to Don Johnson twice before their final separation in 1994. She welcomed her first child Alexander with actor S. Bauer, while Dakota was born during her marriage to D. Johnson.

Banderas played a big role in acting career of the girl and marked her debut in «Crazy in Alabama» where she acted together with her mother.  Her bond with her stepfather became even tighter as they often worked together on movies.
