It’s time to recognize that animals shouldn’t be treated differently on airplane.
It’s great that these days dogs, cats or any other pets can join you on your flight to your destination; it’s time to recognize that animals are part of the family and shouldn’t be treated differently on board. Some airlines create an even bigger problem when it comes to huge dogs, although progress is being made and airlines are becoming more tolerant over time.
As a general rule, pets weighing less than eight kilograms are allowed to travel in the cabin with their owners for the duration of the flight. On the other hand, large dogs over this weight travel in a pressurized compartment in the lower hold unless specific evidence is presented, such as a certificate of trust or because it is a service dog. specific, who will be allowed to travel with their manager.
Because the adorable puppy in the story, Louie, weighs less than eight pounds, he traveled in a window seat with his trainers and enjoyed the entire ride, keeping his eyes on the thick clouds he saw passing by. It must have been an amazing experience for a puppy. He probably had no idea what was going on, but he was having a great time traveling with his fantasies.
Looking out the window, the puppy enjoys the flight with his owners. It should be noted that if a pet is traveling with its owner on a flight, it is not allowed to leave its basket under the seat, but Amanda decided to take the opportunity to sit it on her lap to enjoy the view from the window. None of the flight crew or passengers objected to this circumstance, and everyone allowed the animal to have some fun. The dog was well behaved during the flight and is an excellent role model.
Dogs sometimes behave better than children. Luckily, according to the dog’s owner, they were at the front of the plane, and few saw Louis enjoy the view.
Despite the fact that many people welcome dogs, they didn’t want any difficulties. The flight attendants loved the dog and didn’t hesitate to kiss it; they thought the dog was too charming and seductive, and that if he didn’t cause any trouble, it would be nice to let him stay in Amanda’s lap for the rest of the flight and enjoy the view.
The video she recorded was of sunrise and it was beautiful. Amanda also mentioned that the woman sitting next to her on the plane didn’t notice the dog at first because he was so sleepy and well behaved.
She was surprised to see him, but she thought he was very cute and easily kept Louis away from the cage. Louie loves his new home with his older brother Leo, who is also a golden retriever, after touring and spending a few months with his family.
Now they are adjusting to their new place in Amanda’s new house. Luckily, both dogs are genuinely happy and adorable and enjoy long walks with their handlers whenever they visit the park.
Any animal lover would love to have Amanda as a traveling companion to enjoy the view from the window. It was a truly touching journey.
