The river overflowed, but the animals did not care. They had only one goal – to overcome it – they decided to go for it.
While everyone stood and thought, the photographers took the opportunity. They managed to capture this moment perfectly.
“Usually they crossed the river on the rocks, but this year it rained for a long time, it was very difficult for them to overcome the flood”, Johanson explained.
“They walked up and down the river for a long time. It was very dangerous because of the rough current”.
“It was a really big risk”.
“First the leader jumped into the river. The two smallest in the group waited a few seconds before jumping into the water”.
Fortunately, everyone managed to cross to the other side unharmed.
