Douglas passed away in 2020 at the age of 103 and most of his alleged $61 million wealth went to charity.

In a recent publication by the Mirror, it is stated that Kirk Douglas Theater, Sinai Temple in Westwood, St. Lawrence College, and Los Angeles Children’s Hospital will receive $50 million from the actor’s foundation.

The foundation’s website states it is to help all those who can’t help themselves. The actor has been doing charity work since the time when he was alive. It is currently unknown where the rest of his wealth will be headed however his son Michael and his two other sons are reported to be out of luck.

Michael, who is also a well-known actor, currently has a net worth of $300 million.

During an interview with Hollywood Reporter back in 2015, the late actor and his wife spoke about their foundation and desire to donate to charity funds.
