George and Amal Clooney have stepped out with their children in a rare family sighting. The couple were photographed alongside their nine-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, as they made their way to a special event on Lake Como.
The family was heading to the historic 18th-century Villa Passalacqua, where George and Amal hosted a major charity evening connected to the Clooney Foundation.
Amal, 48, looked elegant in a floor-length blue gown, while daughter Ella stood out in a layered gold dress. George, 65, coordinated with son Alexander, with both wearing gray suits and crisp white shirts.

The Clooneys were joined by other guests and their children as they arrived at the picturesque Italian venue. The appearance offered an unusually public glimpse of Alexander and Ella, whom their famous parents generally keep away from the spotlight.

The family outing comes after George and Amal recently had to evacuate their home in France because of wildfires. They have since returned to their familiar surroundings around Lake Como, where the family has spent considerable time over the years.

George and Amal themselves are selective about their public appearances. In recent months, however, they have attended several prominent occasions together, including a meeting with King Charles III and an event honoring George’s career.
Their romance led to marriage in 2014, when the actor and the human-rights attorney exchanged vows following a whirlwind courtship that had drawn worldwide interest. In 2017, their family grew with the arrival of their twins, Alexander and Ella.

Alexander and Ella have largely been kept away from red carpets and other high-profile occasions, despite having two internationally famous parents. That privacy made the family’s recent matching appearance particularly unusual and eye-catching.
