Gigi Hadid has given fans a rare glimpse of her daughter Khai while celebrating a major family milestone. The 31-year-old supermodel marked her daughter’s sixth birthday with an emotional message and a collection of rarely seen photos.
Hadid described six-year-old Khai as her mirror, her muse and a source of enormous happiness. She admitted that she could never have imagined exactly what kind of personality her daughter would develop — and proudly listed some of the qualities that already make her unique.
According to Gigi, Khai is curious, creative, affectionate and spirited. She loves climbing trees, searching for worms in the dirt, doing cartwheels and putting together her own outfits. The six-year-old is also passionate about reading, performing, animals and sweets — and apparently even “understands the language of frogs.”
The model ended her birthday tribute with an especially emotional message, telling Khai how proud she is to be her mother and how lucky she feels to have her in her life. Because Hadid generally keeps her daughter away from the spotlight, the accompanying family pictures offered followers an unusually personal glimpse into their world.
Khai is Gigi’s only child with former One Direction singer Zayn Malik. The former couple dated on and off from 2015 until their relationship ended in 2021. Despite their split, both parents have occasionally shared carefully selected moments from their daughter’s life. Malik recently offered his own glimpse of Khai’s sixth-birthday celebrations, which included a colorful cake and attractions.
Hadid has since moved on romantically and has been dating Bradley Cooper since 2023. The actor has a daughter, Lea, from his previous relationship with model Irina Shayk, and the two families have increasingly become part of each other’s lives.
For Gigi, however, her latest post was entirely about Khai. Six years after becoming a mother, the model made it clear that watching her daughter develop her own personality remains one of the greatest joys in her life.
