Gigi Hadid is offering a small but surprisingly intimate glimpse into life with Bradley Cooper. The 31-year-old model revealed that a pasta recipe she enjoys making at home has become a hit with her partner.
While cooking a pasta dish featuring prosciutto and fresh herbs, Hadid let slip that Cooper has already had the chance to try it. “I’ve definitely made this for my man,” she revealed, adding with confidence: “He loves this.”
She didn’t actually say Cooper’s name during the comment, but the admission gave fans a rare peek behind the curtain of a romance that has largely unfolded away from public view. Hadid and Cooper have been together for nearly three years after first sparking dating rumors in 2023.
Her homemade meal combines spaghetti with prosciutto, tomatoes, garlic, Parmesan, olive oil, pine nuts and either cilantro or parsley. She finishes everything with red pepper flakes, which she likes to include for “a little spice.”
Precision isn’t particularly important to Hadid when she cooks. Instead of relying heavily on exact quantities, she trusts her senses and adjusts ingredients as she goes. “It’s really about tasting and smelling and feeling it out,” she explained, describing time in the kitchen as another opportunity to express her creativity.
Even the prosciutto gets its own special treatment. Hadid first gathers the slices into what she jokingly calls a “prosciutto flower,” then cuts them unevenly. The different-sized pieces cook at slightly different rates, leaving some crisp while others retain a softer, chewier texture.
That instinctive approach has roots in her childhood. Hadid says her father, Mohamed Hadid, encouraged her to trust herself rather than become obsessed with measurements. “The biggest thing I learned from my dad is cook with your heart,” she recalled.
Food was an important part of family life while she was growing up. Hadid remembers her father’s Palestinian cooking and describes him as the person in the family who naturally took on the role of chef. His influence remains visible in her own kitchen, where she keeps a generous supply of za’atar and regularly uses the Middle Eastern seasoning in different dishes.
Her fascination with food also started early. Long before becoming internationally known as a model, Hadid dreamed about appearing on cooking programs. When she was home from school, she would often spend her free time watching cooking shows and absorbing what she saw.
These days, the kitchen has also become a place where Hadid spends time with her 5-year-old daughter, Khai, whom she shares with former partner Zayn Malik. Having a young child nearby naturally makes cooking a livelier experience. “There’s a lot of yapping with a 5-year-old,” Hadid joked.
Khai occasionally gets involved with preparing food herself. Other times, she simply stays close to her mother and works on art projects while Hadid handles dinner.
Hadid’s relationship with Cooper first attracted attention in October 2023, when the pair were seen having dinner together in New York City. Since then, they have slowly become more comfortable allowing parts of their relationship into the public eye, while still keeping much of their private life to themselves.
A major public milestone arrived in May 2025. Hadid included a photograph of herself kissing Cooper in a social media post marking her 30th birthday, effectively giving followers their clearest confirmation of the relationship up to that point.
