Gisele Bündchen has offered a rare glimpse into her new family life. The 46-year-old Brazilian supermodel was spotted enjoying a relaxed outing in New York City with her husband, Joaquim Valente, and her 13-year-old daughter, Vivian, who is looking more and more like her famous mother.
The trio were photographed walking through the city on Friday, keeping their appearance casual and understated. Gisele opted for a simple white tank top, comfortable blue jeans and sneakers, proving that she doesn’t need a glamorous runway outfit to attract attention.
But it was Vivian who particularly caught the eye. The teenager looked like a younger version of her supermodel mother, wearing a black tank top, low-rise light-wash jeans and sneakers. Her relaxed outfit complemented Gisele’s effortlessly stylish appearance, highlighting the resemblance between the two.
During the outing, Vivian was seen walking beside her stepfather, Joaquim Valente, while the pair appeared to be enjoying a conversation. Gisele walked a few steps ahead, giving photographers a rare opportunity to capture the family spending time together.
One important family member was missing from the photographs. Gisele and Joaquim welcomed a baby boy approximately 19 months ago, but the couple have chosen to keep much of his life private. They have not publicly revealed their son’s name.
The supermodel also shares Vivian and 16-year-old son Benjamin with her former husband, retired NFL superstar Tom Brady. The former quarterback has another son, 19-year-old Jack, from his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan, 55.
Gisele’s peaceful family outing comes as renewed attention surrounds her former marriage. An unauthorized biography by sports writer Lars Anderson, titled Brady: An American Story and the Price of Greatness, revisits the complicated circumstances surrounding Brady’s breakup with Moynahan and the beginning of his romance with Bündchen.
Brady and Moynahan dated for nearly three years before separating in December 2006. According to the book, the football star went on his first date with Gisele that same month, shortly after his relationship with the actress had ended.
In February 2007, Brady learned that Moynahan was pregnant with their child. Anderson’s account cites an obstetrics nurse who estimated that the baby had been conceived in late November 2006, approximately two weeks before Brady’s first date with Gisele.
The biography claims that Moynahan was devastated by the breakup and contacted Brady with the pregnancy news while he was vacationing in Paris with Bündchen. For Gisele, the revelation reportedly created an emotionally complicated situation at the very beginning of her relationship.
According to Anderson, the supermodel initially questioned whether she should step aside and encourage Brady to build a family with Moynahan. Ultimately, however, she decided to remain with him as he prepared to welcome his first child.
