This caring truck driver ultimately adopted Percy and brought him home.
Paul Robertson is a happy truck driver. There is no denying that he loves his job, in fact he has been doing it for many years.
However, when he runs long distances, he usually gets in the way of loners.
Let’s face it, staying awake when driving alone at night isn’t easy, but don’t stop Paul, especially if he has a deadline to meet.
During his travels back and forth, he had a feline friend named Howie. They spent countless hours on the road and were best friends for many years. Sadly, Howie passed away in 2017.
Anyone who has ever had a pet will tell you that the process of letting go was not easy. This sad experience spares no one, including Paul.
He was very sad when he lost his beloved cat. However, that didn’t stop him from wanting another animal companion. He quickly saw the animal shelter and started looking for another cat.
There he was introduced to a ginger cat named Percy.
The cat had scars, a torn right ear and a missing tooth.
Nothing wrong with Percy stopped Paul from wanting him. She knew immediately that they would be the perfect couple.
As it turns out, Percy had a hard life. Before he was rescued, he lived on the street. Despite all this, the homeless cat of that time kept a benevolent attitude inside. He was still caring and nice to people.
Paul eventually adopted Percy and brought him home.
No more solo trips. Percy quickly became Paul’s “perfect” co-pilot on his long journeys, and the cat couldn’t be happier. The cute kitty loved everything, whether it was long or short trips, whatever the weather, he was always there to accompany his new human father.
“He is very cute and loves to crawl into my arms, onto my chest, and then cuddle with me,” Paul wrote on Facebook.
