Izzy is a detective with unparalleled flair. This Saint Hubert Dog is employed by the Connecticut State Police to find missing persons.
On December 12, 2021, the animal with incredible scent skills was tasked with locating a 10-year-old little girl. The latter had disappeared in Woodbury.
When he arrived at the child’s residence, Izzy received one of his personal items, in order to detect its scent, reports People magazine. The female dog then led her master on a track of more than 2.5 kilometers.
Fortunately, the girl was found in a wooded area near the family home.
Thanks to the swiftness of the authorities and the dog, she escaped unharmed and was returned safely to her home. Relief for everyone.
The brave Izzy has received a plethora of praise from her fellow human beings, although this is not her first moment of glory.
But she is not the only one to start a brilliant career in the police force.

The 9-year-old canine has carried out hundreds of missions, found 150 missing people and saved around 20 lives, which has earned him several well-deserved accolades.
