It was quite challenging.🧐😳
An unexpected guest stayed these days with Annette Gray at her Australian home. Charlotte is her real name. This is a massive spider that wandered inside one day and decided to stay.
Charlotte, according to Gray’s son Jake, is a huntsman spider, a species that can grow quite large but is actually very kind. Alone, hunter spiders do not pose a great danger to humans. And Jake’s mother took the same approach to Charlotte, leaving her alone.
“We’ve seen [Charlotte]growing up over the last year or two,” Jake explained. “[She] never bothered us. She wanders around the house, looking into different rooms and eating all the unnecessary insects.
Charlotte was obviously very active in this activity.
“[She’s] about 15cm wide,” Jake said. That is almost 6 inches.
Annette later stated online, “I think [Charlotte] is getting bigger.”
Some family members and friends of the Grays joked that the house had to be burned down to get rid of Charlotte because of the spider, which was making a lot of noise. Annette, on the other hand, is lucky in that she understands what it takes to be a good host, even for visiting spiders.
“I don’t kill them,” she wrote in a letter. Charlotte is absolutely safe.
