The main concept behind the design was simple — don’t erase the marks of time, highlight them.
Instead of replacing everything with modern furniture, the designers decided to restore authentic elements from the 1960s and give them a fresh life.
Original built-in furniture was carefully refurbished, keeping the natural wood texture and original handles.
These vintage pieces became the central design feature of the apartment, setting the tone for the entire interior: retro, slightly bohemian, and incredibly cozy.
Smart Layout Without Rebuilding Walls
Rather than dividing the space with additional walls, the designers kept the apartment open to maintain a sense of spaciousness.
To separate the sleeping area, they used a heavy curtain instead of a wall. This simple yet elegant solution keeps the room light and flexible while creating a private bedroom nook.
