Jane Seymour recently turned 75, and many people are asking the same question: how does she still look so energetic and maintain the same clothing size she had as a teenager?
The actress opened up about her lifestyle in a recent interview, explaining that her approach has never been about strict dieting or punishing restrictions. Instead, she credits consistency and sensible daily choices for keeping her healthy and balanced over the decades.
According to Seymour, she has worn the same size since her teenage years. But she insists that the secret is not extreme discipline — it’s about building habits that feel natural and sustainable.

Her daily routine begins simply. In the morning she drinks coffee and eats hard-boiled eggs to get a dose of protein. Rather than eating several large meals early in the day, she usually waits until early afternoon for her main meal, which she typically has around 1:30 p.m.
Food plays a central role in her lifestyle, but it follows a clear philosophy. Seymour favors a Mediterranean-style diet rich in vegetables, fish, olive oil, tomatoes, and olives. Many of the ingredients on her plate come directly from her own garden, where she grows vegetables and leafy greens that she regularly incorporates into her cooking.

Later in the day, when she wants something lighter, she turns to simple snacks such as vegetables with hummus, pistachios, or other nuts. She admits she has always preferred savory flavors rather than sweet treats.
Interestingly, Seymour says she never thinks of herself as being “on a diet.” In her view, labeling something a diet often leads people to feel restricted, which can make them more likely to abandon it. By choosing foods she genuinely enjoys, she avoids that sense of deprivation entirely.
Nutrition, however, is only part of the picture. Seymour also keeps an active lifestyle that includes light weight training and Pilates. Staying physically active, she says, is essential at any stage of life.

Health monitoring is another priority. Because heart disease runs in her family, she makes sure to have regular medical checkups. She also focuses on getting enough sleep and reducing stress, aware that heart disease remains one of the leading causes of death among women.
Looking at her life today, Seymour says she feels stronger and more energized than she ever expected to at this age. Surrounded by family and still deeply involved in her professional work, she describes herself as being at a wonderful stage of life.
In fact, she admits she never imagined she would still be this active and busy at 75 — but she feels grateful to continue doing what she loves.
