Jennifer Aniston’s Boyfriend Jim Curtis Shares Rare Details About Their Private Romance

Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis have preferred to keep their romance private, rarely sharing details publicly. Now, however, Curtis has given a rare glimpse into their relationship and revealed a little more about the life they share.

Appearing on the August 31 episode of The Jamie Kern Lima Show, the 50-year-old author and hypnotherapist shared a rare detail about his romance with the 57-year-old Friends actress. Curtis said their relationship began roughly a year and a half ago, adding that the couple still feels as though they are in the blissful early stage of being together.

Curtis gave an enthusiastic update when the conversation turned to his romance with Aniston, saying the two are in a very happy place. He went on to praise his partner’s personality, portraying her as remarkably down-to-earth, warmhearted and emotionally generous, with a caring nature that he clearly admires.

He also expressed how grateful he feels to share his life with a partner whose warmth, compassion and willingness to love so freely are qualities he deeply appreciates.

Curtis’ warm remarks echo sentiments Aniston had previously shared about him publicly. Speaking in November 2025, she praised both his character and his professional approach to hypnotism and wellness, portraying him as an exceptional yet refreshingly down-to-earth person whose kindness is one of the qualities she especially values.

That same month, Aniston publicly confirmed their romance on Instagram by posting a heartfelt message in celebration of Curtis’ birthday. Curtis later offered another small glimpse into their bond, revealing that the actress uses affectionate terms for him, including calling him “my love.”

Curtis also offered insight into how the couple deals with disagreements behind closed doors. “We do a lot of meditation, we do a lot of talk,” he explained, describing communication, acceptance and understanding as important parts of their relationship.

He acknowledged that different stages of a romance can require different approaches to conflict. Because he and Aniston are still relatively early in their relationship, Curtis joked that their disagreements have not yet required particularly dramatic solutions.

Curtis explained that while a relationship is still enjoying its blissful early period, there is usually little need to rely on heavy-handed strategies for working through difficulties.

Curtis has previously spoken about the same subject, admitting that spending significant amounts of time together can naturally produce occasional small “flare-ups.” His approach is to communicate, apologize when necessary and make an effort to prevent the same disagreement from becoming a recurring pattern.

Another important part of his relationship with Aniston has been getting to know the people closest to her. The actress is famously surrounded by longtime friends, and Curtis described her as having a “group of best friends that are like family.”

After a year and a half together, Curtis’ latest comments suggest that he has become increasingly comfortable within Aniston’s private world while the couple continues to keep most of their romance away from public attention.
