Ella Bleu Travolta is officially making her mark on the Paris fashion scene. The 26-year-old daughter of John Travolta and the late Kelly Preston made her Paris Fashion Week runway debut on Sunday, stepping onto the catwalk for a major Spring/Summer 2027 show.
Ella appeared confident and composed as she walked the runway in an oversized forest-green blazer layered over a patterned top, navy trousers and sandals. Her hair was styled in a deliberately messy updo, while natural-looking makeup kept the attention on her features.
And those features immediately brought her famous mother to mind. Although Kelly Preston is often remembered with blond hair, the late actress also wore her hair in brown and reddish shades over the years — making Ella’s resemblance to her especially striking in the new runway photos.
This may have been Ella’s first Paris runway appearance, but it wasn’t her first experience as a model. She made her New York Fashion Week runway debut in 2022 and has since attended fashion events in New York and Milan. She has also appeared on major red carpets, including at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
Fashion, however, is only one of Ella’s ambitions. She has pursued acting and recently starred in her father’s directorial debut, “Propeller One-Way Night Coach,” which premiered at Cannes earlier this year. Music is another passion: Ella released her debut single, “Dizzy,” in 2022.
Rather than choosing only one career, Ella has said she hopes to combine her interests in acting, fashion and music. She is currently focusing particularly on acting but wants the other creative areas to remain an important part of her life.
Growing up as the daughter of two famous actors has inevitably brought attention to Ella, but she has repeatedly emphasized that she wants to establish her own identity. While she is proud of her parents and grateful for everything she has learned from them, she has said she wants to “forge my own path.” Her family, she explained, has always encouraged her to do exactly that.
John has expressed similar pride in his daughter. He previously described Ella as “gracious, generous, poised, graceful and gorgeous,” while insisting that he could take little credit for the person she had become beyond simply loving and supporting her.
With her Paris debut now added to a growing list of fashion, acting and music accomplishments, Ella is increasingly stepping into the spotlight on her own terms — even if her striking resemblance to Kelly Preston continues to remind fans of her beloved late mother.
