Julianne Moore surprised fans with a rare family appearance that quickly drew attention on the red carpet. The 65-year-old Oscar-winning actress attended the 10th annual LOVE ROCKS charity concert in New York on Thursday, March 5. This time, however, she wasn’t alone. Moore arrived with her husband, filmmaker Bart Freundlich, and their 28-year-old son, Cal.
It’s not often that the actress appears publicly with her family, which made the moment especially notable. Cal immediately caught the attention of photographers, with many observers noting how he seems to resemble both of his parents.
The family opted for relaxed, casual outfits for the evening. Both Bart and Cal wore oversized black puffer jackets, creating a coordinated look. Moore chose an olive corduroy ensemble consisting of a loose shirt and matching trousers, keeping her style understated and comfortable.

The charity event also brought together several other well-known figures. Among the guests attending the evening were Whoopi Goldberg and singer Mary J. Blige.

Cal is not the only child Moore shares with Freundlich. The couple also has a younger daughter, Liv Helen, who was born on April 11, 2002. Moore and Freundlich married on August 23, 2003, and have largely kept their family life away from the public eye.
While Moore is known for her private lifestyle, her career continues to remain active. Viewers recently saw her in the Netflix series Sirens, which generated considerable buzz.

She has also appeared in the psychological thriller Control, directed by Jesse Eisenberg, adding another notable project to her long list of roles.
But for one night in New York, the spotlight wasn’t only on her career.
It was on the rare moment when her family stepped beside her.
