Kim Kardashian has surprised fans with one of her most unexpected Halloween costumes yet! Instead of dressing as a famous movie character or another celebrity, the reality star decided to transform herself into her own 13-year-old daughter, North West.
The result was so convincing that even Kim’s sister Khloé Kardashian couldn’t resist reacting!
Over the years, Kim has become famous for her elaborate Halloween transformations, previously dressing as characters including Mystique and Cher Horowitz from Clueless. But for Halloween 2026, she chose someone much closer to home.
Sharing a series of photographs on Instagram with the simple caption “Halloween 2026,” Kim recreated North’s increasingly recognizable gothic-inspired style.
The mother of four wore a long electric-blue wig, an oversized black-and-white shirt and loose-fitting trousers, closely copying her daughter’s signature appearance.
She also paid attention to the smallest details, including an elaborate manicure, statement necklace, chunky bracelets and black dental grills.
The finished look was almost identical to the edgy aesthetic North has been embracing recently, making it difficult for some followers to distinguish mother from daughter.
Khloé was among the first to express her amazement, commenting, “Twins!!!!!!”
Model Winnie Harlow was equally impressed, admitting, “I thought it was Northie for a split second.”
She followed up with the same verdict: “Twins.”
The playful Halloween tribute comes shortly after Kim and North publicly addressed criticism surrounding the teenager’s unconventional fashion choices.
Earlier in October, the pair appeared together during a TikTok livestream, where North responded directly to people who had been making negative assumptions about her appearance.
“Stop saying I’m demonic,” the teenager declared. “No, I’m not. Just because I like to dress this way, don’t judge a book by its cover.”
Kim suggested that some people might be reacting to North’s black grills, piercings and unusual accessories.
But North questioned why those fashion choices should be associated with anything sinister, making it clear that she simply enjoys expressing herself through clothing.
Her mother then asked whether she actually cared about the criticism, showing a supportive attitude toward her daughter’s individuality.
Kim also revealed that North’s interest in bold fashion didn’t develop overnight.
According to the reality star, her daughter had been fascinated by piercings and alternative styles since she was very young.
Even during preschool, North reportedly loved wearing fake eyebrow piercings and experimenting with accessories that made her stand out.
Kim recalled that her daughter wanted septum and eyebrow piercings from an early age, sometimes arriving at preschool wearing pretend double-eyebrow piercings.
Now, at 13, North has developed a distinctive personal style built around bright blue hair, dark accessories and oversized clothing.
And rather than criticizing her daughter’s unusual fashion preferences, Kim has taken things a step further by recreating the entire look herself.
