There are birthday cakes… and then there are statement cakes.
Lauren Sánchez Bezos made sure her eldest son’s milestone celebration had a nostalgic twist. Nikko Gonzalez, whom she shares with former NFL star Tony Gonzalez, just turned 25 — and the party centerpiece stole the spotlight.
Sánchez Bezos shared a photo on social media revealing a bold Power Rangers–themed cake. The design featured the Red Power Ranger front and center, complete with white diamond detailing inspired by the iconic suit. A figurine topper showed the character standing confidently with hands on hips.

The cake sat on a white tablecloth inside what appeared to be a restaurant setting, surrounded by glasses and plates — a clear sign that friends and family gathered to celebrate the milestone together.
“I adore you more than words can say,” Sánchez Bezos captioned the photo.

Nikko’s tie to the Power Rangers has a family backstory. His father also celebrated the milestone by posting a nostalgic snapshot of himself with a young Nikko at one of his childhood birthday parties, standing beside the Red Power Ranger. The scene was decorated with balloons featuring Mickey Mouse and other animated favorites.
“Happy birthday to my firstborn!” Gonzalez wrote. “Love you, Nikko!”

Sánchez Bezos has never hidden how strong her relationship with her son is. They are often seen together at public events and on holiday trips, occasionally even arriving as one another’s plus-one.
On February 12 — Nikko’s actual birthday — she shared a rare flashback photo of him as a baby sitting on her shoulders, beaming at the camera. “I can’t believe you’re 25 today,” she wrote. “I will always picture you like this. Love you, Nikko. Happy birthday.”

Every year, she writes a heartfelt message in his honor. Last year, she praised his independent nature, describing him as bold, steady during chaos, and remarkably diligent. She said his quiet strength continues to inspire her and that he still teaches her valuable lessons every single day.
Sánchez Bezos is the proud mother of three children — Nikko, along with Evan and Ella Whitesell, whom she shares with her former husband, Patrick Whitesell.
But this week, it was all about her firstborn turning 25 — with a cake that proved some childhood favorites never really fade.
