My wife always spoke French with her parents so I brought my friend who knew the language and this is what I discovered

Today’s hero met his future wife at college when she was an exchange student who studied International Politics. They have been inseparable since then and are endlessly happy as a married couple. She is French and her parents live in France.

They visit the couple twice a year. Now, they are here and it has been already 4 days that they have spent time together. One day, I suddenly started being left out at the dinner table. They were chatting in French as always and this raised some questions.

He decided to bring his friend who knew French so that he could translate and inform him later what they were talking about. He brought Nolan and when they started altering the first words, his face went pale. Nolan immediately warned him to go upstairs and check under her bed.

At first sight, he didn’t take it seriously but then he saw his wide eyes and knew that there obviously was something wrong. His heart was beating really fast and one can say that he almost had a heart attack. The guy found a lone black box there.

With shaky fingers, he opened it and saw incriminating photos of Camille, his wife, love letters to a stranger and little trinkets which revealed her betrayal. Soon, he opened his eyes and found himself in hospital. Concerned Nolan was sitting next to him and showed his sympathy.

He later shared that they were talking about Camille’s biggest secret which was hidden under the bed.  Soon, Camille and her family came and drove him home when he finally felt better. When he finally revealed that he knew everything, her first response was denial.

She asked for another chance and then started to accuse him of ruining her privacy. Heartbroken and desperate, he filed for divorce and couldn’t understand why he wasn’t enough.
