Mother-in-law wants to be paid for babysitting her grandkid while the spouses work full time to make ends meet

To start a family in your 20s and even 30s may be challenging not only because of the new status and constant household duties, but also the difficult task to balance family and career.

Here, young families will undeniably need some help from the adults and often they became their parents or in-laws. Something, it becomes hardly possible to make the ends meet without someone’s assistance. So, it is the story about one family.

The young couple had a child and worked day and night to earn money. Both the spouses worked full time and it was the grandmother who took care of the 6-month-old baby. Everything was fine until one evening she hit her with the following words:

«In fact, I should be paid for babysitting this child and sacrificing my time». She kept claiming that it was her who did everything – nursing, cleaning, cooking and could no more endure it silently. The husband, however, agreed to pay some money, while the woman is still in shock.
