I recently discovered a fast and effective way to clean even the dirtiest stove burners. In just seven minutes, you can make them look as good as new!
The stove is a crucial appliance in every kitchen, especially for those who cook regularly. It’s essential to keep the burners clean, but sometimes, the buildup is so stubborn that it’s challenging to get them spotless. I came across a technique that can clean and shine the burners in a flash, and today, I’m excited to share it with you.

To start, soak the burners in a citric acid solution. First, fill a deep bowl with the burners and bring about 1.5 liters of water to a boil in a kettle. Once it’s boiling, pour in a small packet of citric acid. You’ll notice the water bubbling and foaming (and your kettle will get a clean too!). Pour this lemon-infused water over the burners and let them sit for about 5 minutes.
After the soaking time, pour out the mixture and prepare a cleaning paste.
For the paste, combine a few simple household ingredients that most people already have. In a bowl, mix a small packet of dry yeast with a tablespoon of regular toothpaste. It doesn’t matter which brand you use – even the most inexpensive one will work. In the original recipe, tooth powder was suggested, but since I didn’t have any, I improvised. Stir the mixture well, then add a few tablespoons of vinegar until the consistency resembles that of sour cream.
Be sure to wear gloves while working with this paste, as it can be harsh on the skin.
Next, take each burner and use the rough side of a sponge to scrub away the grime. After soaking, the dirt should come off easily, and the paste will help lift any remaining residue. In just seven minutes, my burners are sparkling clean. Once done, rinse them under running water and proudly return them to their place.
This simple yet effective method will have your burners gleaming in no time!
