Spouses gave their old apartment a second chance and turned it into the place to live most people dream of

My husband and I were ashamed of the ugly apartment we lived in and surprised everyone with its jaw-dropping transformation! 🤫💥Our neighbors laughed at us until we revealed the final results! 😏👏We shared the before-after photos and became Internet stars! 🤩For more – see the article!👇

The owner of this apartment is a young woman who works as a professional decorator. It was years ago that her husband and she purchased this apartment. To put it mildly, the previous owner had left it neglected for years and the new owners decided to give it a fresher look.

There was little money for remodeling, thus the owner decided to design the project herself and did almost all the repair work on her own. Eventually, it turned out very comfortable and functional.

The entrance area has been slightly enlarged due to the fact that the passage to the kitchen has been moved to the living room. A decision was made to lay parquet boards on the floors in all rooms, and the walls were painted milky. A compact storage system was organized near the entrance.

They replaced the usual door to the living room with hinged doors, thanks to which a lot of natural light poured into the corridor. What is more, a large mirror panel was placed opposite the living room, which visually enlarges the area and fills the corridor with additional light.

From the hallway we enter the bright living room. The finishing here is the same as in the entrance area – parquet and light paint. On the right side one can see a soft sofa, and opposite it there is a TV area.

Near the window, a decision was made to organize a reading area with a comfortable blue chair and an open bookcase, where there was a place for an antique sewing machine which she inherited from her grandmother.

Since there is gas in the kitchen, a sliding partition was installed here. At the entrance there is a small dining area. They installed a corner kitchen set against the wall, the facades of which are painted in a milky shade. Some of the facades were specially made with glass inserts to visually lighten the space.

The walls in the bedroom were covered with light green wallpaper with a noticeable geometric spruce pattern. In the center there is a master bed with a soft headboard.
