Meg Ryan was born in Fairfield, Connecticut, in 1961 to a family of highly respected educators. The future star started to take interest in acting and, despite her parents’ disapproval and disbelief, kept pursuing her goals changing her surname to Ryan.

Her drizzling career began with roles in soap operas and commercials which soon brought her success and recognition. No one will deny that her role in «Top Gun» became her breakthrough one.

Her life took a turn after her divorce from Quaid and relationship with R. Crowe. What concerns her children, she welcomed her son with her ex-husband and then adopted a daughter in 2006 naming her Daisy.

Now, she appears looking much younger her age which she owes to a series of cosmetic surgeries and beauty procedures.  Some still consider her a forever beauty, while the others call her «a plastic surgery victim».
