An orangutan offers assistance to a warden who is “In danger”
This stunning image is undoubtedly one of the many pictures that can say a thousand words.
The moving image was taken on Borneo, the largest island in Asia, in a conservation forest region.
And depicts a touching scene in which an orangutan lends a helping hand to a man who is close and standing in a small pond.
Anil Prabhakar, an Indonesian amateur photographer who was on safari with his friends, witnessed the primate’s heartwarming act of kindness and managed to capture the poignant moment just in time.
The man in the picture, according to Prabhakar, is a forest warden who went down to remove the snakes in the water to safeguard the adjacent orangutans because snakes pose a serious threat to such animals.
He was doing so as part of his duties at the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation, a nonprofit that is now providing care for close to 650 orangutans and has 400 members.
The kind orangutan appeared to be worried that some snakes in the water may threaten his human friend.
So he decided right away that he ought to offer assistance.
The enormous ape was a wild animal, and the warden wanted to be cautious, so he declined his hand even though he was moved by his goodwill.

The jungles of Malaysia and Indonesia are home to orangutans.
They are among the most intelligent non-human primates, and when it comes to building a nest strong enough to support their weight, they have some really amazing architectural talents.
This species may engage in simple tool-based food hunting and primarily consumes fruits.
