The man ignored everyone’s advice, bought an apartment with old renovation and made it a dream place to live

Today’s article is about an apartment in a building constructed back in the 1840s. Its miserable condition didn’t scare the man and he didn’t mind taking a risk. It was its wonderful view that captivated him most, so he didn’t waste time and was quick to obtain it.

A decision was made to radically change the previous interior. The first task was to replace the layout and do the redevelopment. The whole apartment is now designed in black and white colors. The finishing was removed down to the brick. They primed and painted it with white washable paint. Parquet boards were chosen for the flooring.

There is a black banquette to the right of the entrance. One can see hooks for outerwear too as well open storage system.  There is also a full-fledged closet for things which is located in a niche opposite the front door.

As a result of the redevelopment, the kitchen space was moved to the corridor and a combined kitchen-living room was created. They installed a compact kitchen set the facades of which were made in classic white. The apron was lined with decorative white brick so that it matched the overall interior.

The brick walls in the living room were painted in two colors: white and black. Next to the bar counter there is a black multifunctional wall. On the side of the entrance, it contains a wardrobe, on the side of the living room, there is a TV area. One can see a fridge at the end.

The bedroom was built on the side of the former kitchen. The walls in the room were painted white and black. A small workplace was created at the entrance. The owner brought an antique typewriter along with the piano. The room also features a double bed.

They slightly increased the area of the bathroom due to the redevelopment. The walls and floor were decorated with large-format porcelain tiles. A decision was made to give the preference to a full-fledged shower instead of a regular bathtub. What concerns the washing machine, it was installed under the sink.
