Today’s article’s hero is a single woman, a professional designer, who always knew what kind of apartment she wanted clarifying its location and the view it provided. And one day, she was happy to come across an old apartment the condition of which left a lot to be desired.

The renovation started with the complete dismantling of the old decoration and redevelopment. Light ties with a geometric pattern were chosen for the floor in the entrance area. The walls have been painted a rich terracotta shade which added even more charm to the atmosphere.

There is a soft banquette on the right side of the entrance door, above which there are hooks for outerwear with a shelf. A mirror with a low stand was hung opposite the banquette.

The entrance to the kitchen was moved from the corridor to the living room as a result of the redevelopment. Now the kitchen and living room are connected by a wide opening without a door or a sliding partition. Green was chosen for the walls, and patterned tiles were used on the floor.

They installed a corner set here, which was made to order due to the fact that the kitchen has some architectural features, which is why the drawers turned out to be of different depths. The facades were chosen in a rich orange color. There is now part of the suite in the form of pencil cases with built-in equipment.

When guests come to the hostess, the dining table and chairs are moved to the living room. So as to maintain its historical value, the owner used vintage pieces of furniture everywhere.

The room where the master bedroom was set up turned out to be very miniature. A decision was made to use green color for the walls. A bed was placed in the center of the room, and an armchair and a chest of drawers were placed opposite.

A decision was made to give another isolated room to her personal office, which also plays the role of a guest room. There are bookshelves, a workspace and a yellow sofa that folds out and turns into a sleeping area for guests.

Due to competent redevelopment, the bathroom was slightly increased in size. Now there is a large utility closet with a washing machine. The flooring here is green tiles, and the walls are lined with orange tiles combined with yellow moisture-resistant paint.
