Since their first meeting, a cat and a dog have become the best friends in the world.
The popular phrase “get along like a dog and a cat” takes on a whole new meaning thanks to Marley and Horner. Around the same time, an English springer and a ginger cat joined Suzanne Moore’s family. They became inseparable from day one!
A resident of Aberaron, Wales, adopted a dog when he was 10 weeks old. Soon after, she took a farm cat with her. Forties did not expect her 2 new companions to weave such a strong bond. But opposites attract, right?
“They will melt our hearts”.
Marley tried to approach the other two cats in the house. But the latter always refused his company. “They slap him on the nose to keep him from climbing”, Suzanne told Teamdogs. Luckily, Horner met him with his legs spread.
Tenderness has many virtues. For their owner, their meeting could be a way to comfort each other after a change of scenery.
The two friends, now 6 months old, grew up together under the same roof, never drifting apart.
Their afternoon hugging sessions have become a little ritual they won’t miss for anything. The cat curled up against the dog; their tails and legs are sometimes intertwined. If they don’t take a nap together, they follow each other, play and even share food.
“They will melt our hearts”, their adoptive mother said. Their unbreakable relationship shows that love comes in all forms. Friendship is a treasure, especially if it’s like this cute duo.
