The poor raccoon left without a mother was just wandering in the grass.
Katie Fuscaldo first saw Rocket when the raccoon was barely a week old. It happened in the woman’s yard. A baby without a mother had stayed in the grass.
Katie thought she could help the animal.
Fuscaldo wasn’t going to hold the Rocket forever. But Rocket herself decided she didn’t really want to go crazy.
Now that Rocket is friends with Katie’s dogs, she literally considers them her team for active play and mischief. The raccoon still enters the house, sometimes sleeping with her foster mother.
Now we have more than ten thousand subscribers, who, probably, have also begun to look at raccoons in a different way.
