The piece of wood is now filled with Christmas decorations.
A month after her dog’s death, Andrea McNally of Maidstone, Kent, UK, honored her memory by giving a second life to a stick she brought back from her last walk. The piece of wood is now filled with Christmas decorations.
Losing a pet remains a painful experience. Grief can sometimes last for weeks, months, or even years… Many grieving owners love to cherish the memories of their beloved furry ball joining the stars. For them, this is a way not to forget their unique history and remember pleasant memories.
In November 2021, Andrea McNally had to say goodbye to her Staffordshire Bull Terrier Boyce. A 12-year-old animal suffering from a serious heart condition fell into an eternal sleep after his family decided to euthanize him.
“In the last year of his life, he developed infections, pain in his legs, difficulty breathing.”
The dog is always present in the hearts.
The mother-of-three wanted to pay her last respects to her late four-legged companion, who would therefore no longer be able to participate in the end-of-year celebrations.
Today, Christmas wreaths, stars and an open wreath adorn the late Boyce’s favorite toy.
This is how dogs always brighten up their lives this holiday season… “A great way to remember a good friend.”
