Starting his career, he wanted to make prostheses for people, but the incident with his dog changed his plans.

Labrador Charles seriously injured his paw and needed a prosthesis. And then he decided that he would help animals.

15years ago, he founded Animal Ortho Care, and then the company began to produce prostheses for the inhabitants of zoos and nature reserves.

Animal Ortho Care is visited by veterinarians from all over the world.

If an animal in need of a prosthesis is far from the United States, a special kit is sent to its owner to help determine the exact size. Then, according to this, a prosthesis is made.

Derrick is famous in the USA. Derrick himself calls his most important project a prosthetic leg for an elephant-Jabba.
