One of the most outstanding, influential and desired figures of the 1980s is Kathleen Turner who was dubbed as the symbol of femininity and attractiveness. Her appearance in a large number of great films alongside A-list stars paved the way for worldwide recognition.

Few know that back in 1994 she was suffering from an autoimmune condition that caused her severe discomfort, fevers and agony and failed to go unnoticed. She was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.

Doctors predicted that she would soon be confined to a wheelchair. It was in 2009 that she even wrote a candid essay about her condition. One may say that she is best-remembered for his appearance in «Who Framed Roger Rabbit».

This led her to become a heavy drinker. She even started to consume illegal substances. She reveals that all these things have taken their toll and her appearance has undergone big changes which escapes no one’s attention.
