Unfortunately, the star’s battle with cancer isn’t over even after eight years of struggles. She used the hashtag #cancerslayer and said that the new bandage wraps made her smile, even with weary and tearful eyes adding that every morning they come for scans.
It was back in 2015 that doctors found out a lump in her breast and soon Doherty received the tragic news. Her treatment included radiation, chemotherapy as well as one mastectomy.
She candidly shared that she was very exhausted and once even slipped into a pair of outrageous pajamas that her friend had given her to cheer herself up. Unfortunately, the disease has already spread to her brain and bones and there is little hope.
