The Moscow Zoo is making serious preparations for celebrating the birthdays of two pandas

The favorites of visitors and keepers, two pandas, have their birthdays.

Last weekend, a joyful event was celebrated at the Moscow Zoo – 2 pandas: Ding Ding and Ruyi have their birthday.

Traditionally celebrated on July 31, Rui’s birthday, or Ding Ding became the birthday girl the day before.

They are already on the threshold of maturity, or remain the same: one is a modest, cunning, strong-willed clever girl, and the other is an honest, courageous and cheerful.

Every panda’s birthday is a whole event at the zoo. They make mock-ups and cake ingredients and decide how unusual the bears can be.

This time for their birthday, they made two cardboard cakes decorated with vegetables, fruits and bamboo.

Ruyi received a large pool filled with not only the usual delicacies, but also delicious ice-coloured cones dyed with food coloring. And for Ding Ding they made a huge “cocktail glass” with interesting umbrellas.

Pandas, contrary to popular stereotype, are very active animals. According to experts, pandas need to work hard – physically – intellectually.
