The plane crashed in the jungle, but one of the passengers miraculously survived.
Meet Peruvian Julianna Koepcke, whose story began in 1972 and was the only one who miraculously survived a tragic plane crash.
The plane that was carrying her and her mother suddenly broke down and landed from a high altitude in the middle of a desolate and inhabited jungle.
Although many years have passed since the terrible incident, people still wonder how this small, inexperienced and excited child managed to survive in a remote area full of wild animals for 9 years.
It all started with the fact that Julianna and her mother decided to make a Christmas surprise for her father, who at that time lived in another city.
Suddenly, the plane broke down, but the fire didn’t start because of the rain. People were more than sure that no one would be left alive.
Having received serious injuries from the accident, that is, with one broken arm, deep cuts all over her body and a torn tendon, Julianna miraculously managed to survive. The fact is that thanks to her father, she had an idea how to survive in a deserted place. First, she tried to find her mother, but in vain.
After a few days of being in the jungle, her health improved somewhat, and she luckily found a box of chocolates to eat for a while.
Only after 9 days, trying to survive in the jungle, suffering from numerous wounds and injuries, Juliana eventually reached the woodcutter’s hut.
The poor girl’s wounds were well taken care of, and she soon reached civilization.
Inspired by this sensational story, three films were released, and Julianna herself wrote an autobiography.
