Tye, a nine-day-old foal, had no idea what to do when his mother died. That is, until the dog appeared. This kind dog took care of the orphaned foal, even taking Tye under her wing. Since then they have been inseparable.

Good-natured 5-year-old dog Tye, a cute 9-day-old foal, was left alone Wednesday after Tye’s mother died due to declining health and was euthanized in Fayette, Alabama. The owner of S&K Quarter Horses immediately took care of Tye, but they knew he would need more than just food and water. He needed to be loved and comforted.

That’s when the rescue dog, Zip, intervened! Carla’s dog is a five-year-old rescue dog. Zip, the rescue dog, took an immediate liking to Tye and they became inseparable. Zip follows Tye wherever he goes and Zip is always there to show him the ropes.

The two have created an incredible bond and we are grateful that Rescue Dog is helping Tye through this difficult time. The horse, which used to be wary of people, quickly got used to the dog, and since then the two have been inseparable. The dog is now a devoted protector of the horse, constantly watching and protecting it.
