A national holiday in the United States, this Sunday was an occasion for Anthony Spinner and his family to gather at his home, in and around his pool. His dog Boogie was, of course, a part of it too.
Usually this young 8-month-old pit bull is not too fond of bathing. In fact, the brave four-legged “never swam before”, says his owner, who works as a personal sports trainer.
“I didn’t think he would”.
However, on that day, the animal decided to overcome its fear of water and began to save its owner. Anthony Spinner, in fact, decided to pretend to drown, which immediately revealed the superhero sleeping in boogie-woogie.
Worried about his human, the pit bull looked for the best place to dive, walked around the pool and boldly jumped into the water.
Hugs and caresses followed, all to the applause of the guests, admiration and touched by Boogie’s attitude.
“I was shocked. I didn’t think he would do it”, his owner says, realizing how lucky he is to have such a friend next to him.
